Job Overview
We are seeking a caring, motivated, and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant to join our friendly and supportive GP practice team based in central Stockport.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about patient care and enjoys working in a busy primary care environment. The position offers an opportunity to make a positive difference in people’s lives while working within a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the clinical team in delivery high-quality patient care
- Carrying out health checks and routine observations including blood pressure, height, weight, pulse and temperature
- Phlebotomy and specimen collection
- Assisting with chronic disease management
- Performing ECGs
- Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems
- Stock management and maintaining clinical rooms
- Maintaining patient confidentiaity
About you
- Previous experience in a health care setting; ideally within primary care
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Have a flexible and positive approach to work

Pay: From £13.50 per hour
