What You’ll Do (The Role)

As our Healthcare Coordinator, you will be the vital link between patients, medical professionals, and administrative systems. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Care Orchestration: Coordinating patient intake, scheduling appointments, and managing specialized care plans to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Stakeholder Liaison: Serving as a primary, professional point of contact for patients, families, GPs, and clinical partners—answering inquiries with maximum empathy and clarity.
• Data & Compliance: Managing sensitive patient records, updating healthcare databases, and ensuring strict adherence to GDPR and Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards.
• Resource Management: Tracking medical staff rotas, managing resource allocation, and optimizing daily clinical schedules to minimize wait times.
• Reporting: Compiling operational data to help management identify bottlenecks and continuously improve our delivery of care.

Who You Are (The Requirements)

We need someone who remains calm under pressure and is deeply passionate about administrative excellence in a care setting. Our ideal candidate features:

• Proven Experience: 2+ years of experience in healthcare coordination, medical administration, care scheduling, or a similar role within the NHS or private healthcare sector.
• Compliance Knowledge: A solid understanding of UK healthcare regulations, safeguarding protocols, and patient confidentiality (GDPR).
• Communication Excellence: Exceptional verbal and written English skills. You must possess a reassuring, empathetic phone manner and professional email etiquette.
• Tech Literacy: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and hands-on experience with medical scheduling/CRM software (e.g., EMIS Web, SystmOne, or similar platforms).
• Local & Eligible: Must be legally entitled to work in the UK and able to commute daily to our office in Sheffield Tower.

• Competitive Salary: £28,000 – £34,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
