We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused Team Members to join our busy Subway store inside Shell Service Station, Stanley, DH9TJ. No previous Subway experience is required — full training will be provided. Experienced candidates are also encouraged to apply, with higher pay available depending on experience.

Pay Rates

• Day Shift: Starting from £13.00 per hour
• Night Shift: Starting from £13.50 per hour
• Higher wages available for experienced staff depending on experience and skills

Shift Patterns Available

We operate 24 hours a day, offering flexible shifts including:

• Morning shifts
• Afternoon shifts
• Evening shifts
• Night shifts

Typical shifts can be up to 8 hours long.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing sandwiches and food products to Subway standards
• Delivering excellent customer service
• Operating tills and handling payments
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Stock replenishment and food preparation
• Working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Following food safety and health & safety procedures

Requirements

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and nights when required
• Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or food service is beneficial but not essential
