Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including speciality coffees, adhering to quality standards.
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, and other light snacks.
• Take orders accurately and serve customers in a courteous manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, dining areas, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system and provide correct change.
• Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts.
• Follow health and safety procedures diligently to uphold food safety standards.
• Support team members during busy periods to ensure efficient service delivery.

Skills

• Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards.
• Previous barista experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
• Experience in serving customers in a hospitality setting is advantageous.
• Basic food preparation skills for assembling menu items efficiently.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods.
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks and maintain workflow under pressure.
