InnerDrive has a rare and exciting vacancy as we are looking to appoint a Head of Initial Teacher Training. This senior role will take a lead in helping us further expand the support we offer teachers, through our Teacher CPD Academy, our online platform.

About the Teacher CPD Academy

The Teacher CPD Academy is used by schools and colleges throughout the UK and worldwide to build and deliver high-impact in-house CPD programmes. This includes self-access modules, expert insights with researchers and teachers, lesson materials, keynote recordings and further reading material.

Now, we are expanding. We want to create more material that better supports teachers at the start of their career. This includes development of new courses, materials and resources.

About the role

This Head of Initial Teacher Training role covers three main areas:

1. Developing materials and resources so that the Teacher CPD Academy can provide the best possible support to busy teachers.

2. Liaising with school teachers, senior leaders, Trusts and government departments to ensure key projects are delivered to the highest possible standards.

3. Co-ordinating with world-class researchers and brilliant teachers to identify best practice and latest Teaching & Learning research findings.

The pay for this role is £50,000-£60,000 depending on experience and skills.

About you

• Has experience and interest in working with and mentoring early career teachers
• Has a good understanding of Teaching & Learning research
• Has a strong interest in Cognitive Science research and wants to improve education by making it more evidence-informed
• Is a clear and confident communicator
• Wants to make a positive dent in the education landscape on a large scale
• Is motivated by the idea of taking ownership of a project and translating their ideas into training which will be seen by thousands of teachers.
• Based full-time, in-person at our office in South London
