Deputy Head of Finance / Financial Controller (Mandarin Speaker)
Salary: £90,000–£110,000 + bonus + 10% pension

We are seeking a commercially focused Deputy Head of Finance / Financial Controller to join a growing, international organisation. This is a senior leadership role supporting the Head of Finance in driving financial strategy, governance, and operational excellence. Mandarin language skills are essential due to regular interaction with overseas stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Head of Finance in overseeing all financial operations, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with regulatory standards
• Ensure robust financial controls, compliance, and risk management frameworks are in place and continuously improved
• Partner with senior stakeholders across the business to provide commercial insight and support strategic decision-making
• Manage and develop the finance team, promoting high performance and continuous improvement
• Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and external partners as required
• Lead process optimisation initiatives to enhance financial efficiency and accuracy

Key Requirements:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a senior finance role, ideally within a fast-paced or international environment
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and financial control experience
• Fluent in Mandarin and English (written and spoken)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and commercially minded approach
