Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Builders Labourer to join our construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience across various aspects of building and construction projects. The successful candidate will support skilled tradespeople and contribute to the timely and efficient completion of projects, ensuring high standards of safety and quality are maintained throughout. This is a paid position suitable for individuals eager to develop their skills within the construction industry.
Duties
- Assist with general site preparation, including clearing and organising materials
- Support Bricklayer and other trades as required
- Handle and operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Assist with fabrication tasks on-site, including cutting, shaping, and assembling materials
- Aid in construction
- Support the installation of roofing, electrical wiring, plumbing
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations
- Load and unload materials from lorries or storage areas as needed
- Follow instructions from supervisors to ensure project deadlines are met
Qualifications
- Previous experience or knowledge in construction
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in construction environments
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Good organisational skills with attention to safety procedures
- Physically fit with the ability to perform manual labour for extended periods
- Willingness to learn new skills and undertake training opportunities within the construction trade
Pay: £27,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
