We are recruiting on behalf of one of the UK’s leading freight forwarding companies for an experienced Air Import Clerk to join there growing team
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least 2 years experience in freight forwarding experience.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing air road and sea import shipments from start to finish
Key Responsibilities
- Handling air prodom as well as sea and road import shipments from start to finish
- Completing customs entries and ensuring full compliance with HMRC regulations
- Using CargoWise daily to manage shipments and documentation
- Liaising with airlines, customers, overseas agents, and internal departments
- Preparing and checking shipping documentation
- Monitoring shipment progress and resolving operational issues promptly
- Ensuring all healthcare and compliance procedures are followed correctly
Working Hours
Monday to Friday pm
